In November 2015, AGGA conducted a detailed 'Strategy Workshop' to take stock of the association's existing practices, define challenges and opportunities, and establish firm directions for the years ahead. The session was an exercise of candid self appraisal and constructive planning. What evolved is now the current strategic priorities:
Be the 'voice of glass' through member consultation, tight collaborations with State bodies, effective policy position, advocacy via the media, promotion of strong awareness of main issues, and clear communications with customers on the importance of glass.
Monitor, identify, report and take action to address safety concerns in the industry.
Develop quality products and services delivered with excellent customer service through consistent Certification and an Accreditation Program.
Financial and environmental sustainability of the glass and glazing industry.
